One of the last pictures of Addison and Emma together. This was taken ca. 1943, after they had moved from Iowa to Grandview, Washington, to live with their son Stanley.

On the back of this picture is written:

Addison J. Pemberton
July 27, 1944 - his 73rd birthday. Taken by Russel Brown (nephew) of Richland, Wash.

I believe this picture was taken on the back porch of their home (which was on the northeast corner of the Stanley Pemberton farm in Grandview, Washington), because the rocker was in the home of his son Stanley for many years after that.
